Getting through the days~

With such a huge event as going to Korea just on the horizon, it is hard to deal with the current drudgery of everyday life :( I feel like a sloth recently! The most exciting part of my day is planning what to cook for dinner ><

Thankfully, on Tuesday I begin my Korean class at Stony Brook University! While I am excited about this, I only realized today that I never figured out how to get a parking permit... Thankfully a friend who studies at Stony Brook has a temporary permit that I can use for the moment, and mine should be ready by my class on Thursday!

My textbook for this class is Integrated Korean: Beginning 1, Second Edition. I had purchased the exact same book in the first edition last year for self-study (which failed), but I had to spend around $50 to get the second edition because the books are different! Sogang uses their own set of textbooks, so I will be changing textbooks again in a short period of time~

Although life is a bit slow right now, it is going to pick up very soon :) Starting on Thursday, my life will consist of studying and horses!! I will have to start looking into getting a visa as well, and I am hoping to see the Alexander McQueen exhibit at the Met before I leave. Train fare is expensive these days...

I am watching Episode 2 of 최고의 사랑 right now... It's pretty good, but I just watched 49일 after having my wisdom teeth removed and loved it, so I haven't gotten into 최고의 사랑 too deeply.

***This is COMPLETELY unrelated to anything regarding this blog, but any other shellfish-allergy people out there that eat kimchi? I'm extremely severely allergic to all shellfish but have never had a huge problem with kimchi... (at most some discomfort) except I just bought a jar at Whole Foods that smells so much like shrimp that I'm scared to try it! Has anyone ever had a bad reaction?***
